Austin Michael is thrilled to have made his Off-Broadway Debut originating the title role of MIKE in the World Premiere of this new musical which enjoyed a powerhouse SOLD-OUT run at New York’s trendy downtown arthouse, The Players Theatre, in November 2021. This all-new score is by Bucky Heard and Timothy D. Lee of the legendary Righteous Brothers (Unchained Melody) and producing mentorship by Tony Award-Winning Broadway producer Ken Davenport (Kinky Boots, Once On This Island). Mike & Mindy is co-written by Mark Corallo and Eileen Nelson of Eye On The Mark Productions.

With a revamped script and score from feedback during its Off-Broadway run, Mike & Mindy jammed once again in an Industry Reading at the state-of-the-art Open Jar Studios in the heart of Broadway in June 2023. Austin also recorded the original cast album at FatBack Studios in Nashville, Tennessee with the Righteous Brothers music team and is performing the full musical score live at the famous 54 Below venue in NYC.
